Squamish Rafting is looking for a year-round White-Water Rafting Instructor. Applicants must be able to lead groups and individuals whilst enforcing safety rules and regulations. Applicants must have 3-5 years experience instructing white-water rafting and must present a river log to verify their experience. Knowledge and experience on the Elaho-Squamish River is preferred. Due to the dangerous and extreme nature of white-water rafting on our rivers candidates must have the following:- 3 to 5 years experience as a White-Water Rafting Instructor; Swift water rescue technician; BC River Outfitting Association Guiding License or International equivalent for White-water Rafting; Be an experienced and capable white-water kayaker; Must be able to assess river conditions and lead tours; Must have a minimum 80 hour current first aid certification; The role is full time & year-round, including our both our summer and winter tour seasons; The compensation is $22.60 hourly plus 4% vacation pay.
