Squamish Rafting is looking for White-Water Rafting Instructors for the 2018 season. Applicants must be able to lead groups and individuals whilst enforcing safety rules and regulations. Applicants must have 3-5 years experience instructing white-water rafting and must present a river log to verify their experience. Knowledge and experience on the Elaho-Squamish River is preferred. Due to the dangerous and extreme nature of white-water rafting on our rivers candidates must have the following:- 3 to 5 years experience as a White-Water Rafting Instructor; Swift water rescue technician; BC River Outfitting Association Guiding License or International equivalent for White-water Rafting; Be an experienced and capable white-water kayaker; Must be able to assess river conditions and lead tours; Must have a minimum 16 hour current first aid certification; The role is full time, seasonal, 30 hours per week; The compensation is $22.60 hourly plus 4% vacation pay.
